Summary

The report focussed on summarizing critical findings on the impact of Fairtrade on poverty reduction through rural development. The report summarised its findings referring to both Fairtrade and non-Fairtrade producers in flowers in Kenya, cocoa in Ghana, coffee in Peru, bananas in Peru, tea in India and cotton in India. While identifying the positive effects in relation to organization development it also indicates the ripple effects in the community as well as indicated the areas of improvements.
