This report presents a summary of the additional value that FSC-certification provides for biodiversity in Swedish forests beyond that provided by the Swedish Forestry Act. The areas of greatest additional value are identified as: retention trees, dead wood, conservation areas and woodland key habitats, deciduous forests, and forest fires.
