Supporting smallholders to access sustainable supply chains: lessons from the Indian cotton supply chain

This study explores different sustainability initiatives in the Indian cotton sector and their implications for smallholder livelihoods and their integration into markets. The study concludes that the livelihoods of farmers improves, however, that market access is strongly dependant on the type of initiative.
