This article investigates the price premiums for Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certified frozen processed Alaska pollock products in the UK seafood market. The researchers conduct a hedonic analysis using scanner data from supermarkets in the London metropolitan area, showing a 14.2% statistically significant premium for products with the MSC ecolabel, indicating potential market incentives to increase fishery sustainability.
