摘要
The review focuses on the role that small-scale producers play in a more sustainable and just agri-food system. The review is split into five key sections. Chapter 1 highlights the contribution small scale farmers can play in transforming agri-food and Chapter 2 goes onto show the diversity of small-scale producers – the authors argue that small-scale production is a relative term. Chapter 3 and 4 respectively address the contributions and challenges faced by small scale producers. The report ends with recommendations for developing the potential of small-scale producers.
