摘要
The fish sector faces technological, social, and economic barriers to traceability, this paper assesses and reviews the impact of different approaches attempted in a tuna fishery in the Philippines. All approaches encountered barriers to uptake, and the paper estimates that up to 44% of the catch in the Philippines remains unreported. The authors discuss what is needed to progress sustainability outcomes and their documentation through traceability in the seafood sector.
