摘要
This book explores the extent to which the mining industry has changed in its growing acceptance of reforms to encourage sustainable and equitable development. The author examines case studies from over forty 'change-makers' including those both inside and outside the mining industry, taking stock of the various successes, failures and relative influence of the numerous actors and stakeholder groups. Ultimately the book seeks to inform new approaches to improve the sustainability of social and environmental impacts of mining activities.
