摘要
This synthesis paper provides a summary of learnings from a range of empirical case studies that explore how the norm of FPIC has been operationalised in various countries of the world in relation to the rights of indigenous peoples. It explores topics such as how consent is sought in practice, traditional understandings of consent, challenges with the process of implementing and verifying implementation of the FPIC norm.
