This paper explores the effects of the introduction of the such as the Vessel Day Scheme (VDS) and Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certification by the parties to the Nauru Agreement (PNA) in Western and Central Pacific. Authors discussed how these schemes have influences in sustainable finishing practices and have influenced improvements to tuna negotiations.
