This Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) monitoring and evaluation report, published in 2016, highlights the contributions FSC has made to a more socially beneficial, environmentally appropriate and economically viable forest management of the world's forests. The report covers data gathered through audits in 2016. Data for this report was gathered during audits, mainly focusing on social, environmental and economic indicators of forest management. The report also assesses a few independent research studies, which elaborate on the impact of FSC certification.
