摘要
The report aims to examine the link between voluntary sustainability standards (VSS) and women’s economic empowerment (WEE). The report focuses on women in the agriculture sector in developing nations, where gender gaps in income and human capital are still vast and gross inequalities persist. VSS have been recognized as a potential solution to enhanced gender equality and WEE. However, research on the impacts of VSS in acheving WEE is limited and has offered mixed results, this report aims to fill that gap.
