摘要
This chapter presents the case study of Marine Stewardship Council (MSC)'s certification of Mexico's Baja California lobster fishery. The authors provide an overview of the fishery pre-certification, including the management system and stock status, followed by the reaons for seeking certification, and the assessment process. The authors then describe the social and environmental effects of certification, and conclude by reflecting on the certification's mixed results.
