摘要
This paper explores the implementation of Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certification in salmon fisheries in the US state of Alaska in the early 2000s. It focuses on the process of certyfing salmon fisheries in the US, the opposition amonst the industry and the emergence of alternatives to the MSC program in the area. the paper analyses governance relationships, fisheries representation, and communities implications of those processes.
